Just to name a few:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00b7 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtv-aurich.de\/index.php\/de\/square-dance\">Hot Shoes in Aurich<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00b7 Emder Square Dance Club (link doesn&#8217;t work any more)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00b7 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auerkerteerosen.de\/\">Auerker Teerosen (Aurich)<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00b7 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pingelantons.de\/\">Pingel Anton (Cloppenburg)<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00b7 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceanwave.de\/\">Ocean Waves (Wilhelmshaven)<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Only in Norden there was a white spot on the square dance map. Hence the idea was\u00a0to become active\u00a0here. I contacted the VHS (offering adult evening classes of all kind) and they were willing to include square dance into their program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">And indeed, on the first evening there were enough dancers (remember: you always\u00a0need at least 8 dancers\u00a0for a dance). They liked the dancing and we were allowed continue for another 6 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Unfortunately, the VHS did not have enough rooms to\u00a0offer an advanced and a beginner&#8217;s class. However, the dancers were keen to continue the class and we were looking for a way to go on. Since some of the participants were\u00a0members of the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.d-h-s.org\/Danzkoppel\/index-.htm\">N\u00f6rder Danzkoppel<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (a local folk Dance Group), we asked them for help. Their\u00a0 Executive Board welcomed us with open arms and in september 2001 we became members. Since then we are meeting each Thursday evening\u00a0at their Club-house in Kastanienalle in Norden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Everybody who would like to know more about Square Dance can visit us every Thursday.
